Main Seinfeld Cast and Characters

Seinfeld is one of the funniest American sticoms that ever came to be. It was aired first on NBC on July 5, 1989 and the last show was broadcasted on May 14, 1998. This show has violated some of the mainstream television conventions which described the show as "about nothing". The show was driven by superficial conflict and the strange, yet comic, dispositions of the characters.

The Plotlines of the Seinfeld show were based on the author's real life experiences. This made the show easy to understand and some of the audience could even relate to the show. The most succesful catchphrases were: "Yada Yada Yada", "master of your domain", "No soup for you" and "Not that there's anything wrong with that".

Cosmo Kramer is one of the most colorfull characters in Seinfeld sitcom, with a crazy hairsyle and a vintage wardrobe, being the neighbour that always enter with a violent burst through jerry seinfeld's door. Cosmo Kramer loves somking Cuban cigars, he has a few jobs that he can't hold on to and he is annoying, in a strange funny way.

Seinfeld character, Kramer is Jerry Seinfeld's neighbour and friend with Elaine and George, friends that very often gets into trouble because of Kramer honesty. The strange thing is , that Kramer almost never ends up in problems because of his large mouth and his extrem honesty makes him loved by the people ofended by his honesty and lack of tact.

Seinfeld's Kramer is eccentric, but caring and friendly, too friendly sometimes, mostly when he decides to help complete strangers, forcing his friends to help along.Inspired by Larry David's former neighbor, the character Kramer Cosmo is controversial and played in a great, unique way by the talented Michael Richards, who was rewarded with three Emmy for it.

Elaine Benes is Jerry Seinfeld's ex-girlfriend and a good friend with George costanza and Cosmo Kramer. Elaine Benes is the only woman in Seinfeld's characters and even though she is a friend of George and Kramer she is not a big fan of them ,calling them loser and hipster doofus.

Jerry Seinfeld's character Elaine Benes dates many men, and when she is with her friend she is "one of the guys". Jerry Seinfeld's character, Elaine Benes, often gets herself and drag also her friends into trouble, she is the only one who doesn't own a car and she is a poor dancer.

George Costanza was characterized as a "short, stocky, slow-witted, bald man" by Elaine and himself, and their relationship can be described mostly as a love/hate relationship. At one point, George Costanza got engaged to Susan, and then periodically tried to escape the engagement without having to initiate the breaking.

Full of anger, nasty, charming, devious and unscrupulous, selfish, neurotic and commitment-phobic, George Costanza was first inspired by co-creator Larry David and many of George Costanza's troubles were founded on Larry David's past real-life experiences.

Jerry Seinfeld's character, George Costanza, was played brilliant by Jason Alexander who was, for that, awarded with six Emmy nominations, four Golden Globe nominations, an American Television award, two American Comedy Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

And I was so crazy back then working all day, partying most of the night, I needed an excuse not to talk. I needed quiet times and I used coke to get them."

Two events made him quit and seek treatment.First his pal John Belushi died from a drug overdose just a few hours after Williams snorted a line of coke with him at a hotel and the second event, his first wife, Valerie, became pregnant.

"The Belushi tragedy was frightening, his death scared a whole group of show business people and for me there was the baby coming. I knew I couldn't be a father and live that sort of life" said  Williams.

Kevin Hart Great comedian, Great actor and guess what more? A great DAD

Before becoming a great comedian and before taking his friends suggestions to channel his sense of humor into a stage act, Kevin Hart worked as a shoe salesman. With little experience and lots of hope he quit his job and made stand up comedy his new career.

When Kevin hit the stage for the first time, he didn't have too much to talk about, explaining that much of his jokes were very simple "white people do this and black people do it like this".

Now, being a dad, it is easier for him because a lot of his routine comes directly from the real life challenges of being a husband and a dad to his little hearts, his daughter Heaven Lee 4 years old and his son Hendrix 2 years old.

Being a dad, had a very powerful impact on Kevin's life. "They're little now and they say the funniest things'' says Kevin, who seems inspired a lot in his stand up comedies shows by that.

Busy trying to teach his children what not to do he realizes that it's all the stuff that he was doing when he was young.Even as a young boy, Kevin says he was a funny guy. "It cracks me up that they are exact replicas of me, when i was young i was always the silly one and now i make my daughter laugh all the time, she thinks her dad is crazy" Kevin declared.

So, i guess you all imagine how is having Kevin Hart always around.Dieing laughing! What i think it is obvious is the fact that Kevin Hart is a great dad such as he is the great comedian that we all love.

Charlie Murphy I Will Not Apologize stand up comedy video

Charlie Murphy used to be known simply as Eddie Murphy's older brother.

But in recent years, things have changed significantly. After spending a long time on the sidelines of his brother's fame, Charlie takes the comedy world by storm all by himself, with his breakout performance on "Chappelle's Show".

Charlie is now best known for his absolutely hilarious stand up comedy shows since he had the opportunity to strike out on his own stand up career in Chappelle's Show.

One of the most hilarious stand up comedy show hosted by Charlie, is a stand up special "Charlie Murphy: I Will Not Apologize" premiered on Comedy Central in late February, 2010.

"Charlie Murphy: I Will Not Apologize" is a live stand up performance by Murphy, in Boston and this show comes with a warning message.Apologies are overrated and instead o wasting time on apologies, people could be more mindful of what they do and then maybe they wouldn't keep doing things for witch they have got to apologize.

I say Charlie Murphy has got some strong and unique material here and obvious the ability to spin humorous stories clearly runs in the family.

This is Charlie Murphy's debut stand up comedy performance and definitely one of the strongest I've seen in a while.

Russell Brand's Independence - The man wants it, the man needs it, the man gets it

When i say Russell Brand's independence i actually refer at the fact that Russell Brand decided to be "independent" from Katy Perry, the woman who one of our favorite comedian married in an intimate ceremony in India and who we all know her as the "Firework" singer.

The 35-year-old funnyman got tired of the idea that his lovely and charming wife has been chauffeured him around Los Angeles in the past and needs to be an independent man by getting his own driver's license. His goal is to be able to drive wherever he wants or needs by himself, and to achieve that very soon he hurried up to take daily driving lessons.

Russell Brand seems very excited about driving, he is very focused on getting his license as quickly as possible. He also was spotted stopping at a red traffic light on one of his driving lessons to give to a homeless some money and seemed very pleased. We don't know for sure if he was pleased thanks to his results in his driving lessons or because of  his good cause by helping that poor man.

Anyway, what is obvious is that Russel Brand wants that driver license because he needs it in his "independence" from his wife, the singer Katy Perry and i say if he is as good as he is in stand up comedy shows, in driving he should not worry at all, he will get it as quickly as he says "a good joke".

Billy Connolly - How it feels to be a king

Comic Billy Connolly tells how he based his Royal role on Prince Charles, his old pal.

The superstar comedian Billy Connolly,  plays the teeny King Theodore of Lilliput opposite Jack Black's Gulliver in the big budget blockbuster and reveals that Charles, who has been a dinner guest at his Aberdeenshire mansion Candacraig House, was his movie inspiration on his regal role in Gulliver's Travels.

"I think if he were king, he would be a jolly, casual sort of king. So I tried to be him. I rather like him."

Connolly also admitted that he got a kick out of being cast as big screen royalty. He said: "It's terrific to be king.

"I have been the king for a long time and it is an absolute joy to swan around."

"So little is asked of you... you get the most sparkling uniform and the sword and you just swan around. It's fabulous."

This movie marks the first time that Billy will have appeared in 3D on the big screen and he loves it: He said: "It never crossed my mind that I'd be seen in 3D.

"Having said that I think the 3D in this film is fantastic.

"But I am a little bored with 3D and people riding on geese or blue people shooting into valleys... enough. In this film, though, there are none of those 3D tricks. The whole thing glows and I love it."

Although he achieved international fame as a stand-up comic, Connolly has also made his mark as a movie star, his many movies include The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise, rock comedy Still Crazy and the award-winning Mrs Brown.

"I have had a wonderful film career, when you consider where I come from and what I do. I am delighted and have absolutely no complaints," said Connolly.

Gulliver's Travels give us the chance to Connolly as the king of Liliput and  even singing the Lilliput national anthem!

Sugar Sammy's got some good material and gossipers comment that Peters can no longer reach the funny heights of his early material.

By contrast, Sugar Sammy, is younger and a star on the rise and if you check out both comedians stand up comedy work you will see there is a similarity in their acts that is hard to ignore.

In truth that's partly due to Peters having essentially cornered the "Indian guy making jokes about race" section of the market.

But in the end, funny is what ultimately matters!

Russell Peters' Personal Life

Russell Peters, by his full name, Russell Dominic Peters, was born in Toronto, Ontario, on September 29, 1970 and was raised in Brampton by his parents, Eric and Maureen Peters.

Russell Peters' father was born in Bombay, India and was a federal meat inspector. Russell Peters' mother was also born in India, in Calcutta, where she gave birth to Russell's elder brother, Clayton.

Russell Peters went to Georges Vanier Catholic Elementary School until grade 8, Chinguacousy Secondary School for grade 9-10 and North Peel Secondary School in Brampton, for grades 11-12.

In 2010, Russell Peters decided to give a $ 20,000 scholarship asa a sign of contribution for North Peel Secondary, Brampton, Ontario, which he believes has much to do with his success.

The stand up comedian stated that when he was a teenager, North Peel was the best thing that ever happened to him, that he finally felt like he belonged.

Even though the comedian stated in many times that he is against the marriage, Russell Peters married Monica Diaz on August 20, 2010 in a small ceremony in Las Vegas.

This is Russell Peters' statement before he fell in love with Monica:

"I love being single.  I love women too much to be married to just one.  I really don't get being married and having kids and all that stuff.  A lot of my friends are married and have kids - I just don't get it. My lifestyle - being on the road, playing clubs when I'm in-town etc - it's not like working in an office or something, where you get up in the morning, go to work and then come home at the end of the day.  Most days, when I'm home in LA or Vegas, I usually only have breakfast at around 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon... That's not what most people think of when they think about being married..."

Lewis Black - I'm Dreaming Of a Black Christmas

Holidays are getting close and everybody is preparing for Christmas,a time of peace on earth and goodwill toward all.

Well, not for Lewis Black.Lewis Black, for those of you who don't know him, is a foul-mouthed, self-effacing Jewish comedian who being Jewish, he never really celebrated Christmas when he was a child. He celebrated Hanukkah, or as he has called it in a past stand-up special, a "back-to-school" holiday.

He talks about the crippling loneliness he feels on Christmas morning because he is unmarried and childless.

He says humbug to the Christmas traditions and trappings that make the holiday memorable.

In "I’m Dreaming of a Black Christmas", his hilarious and sharply observed book about the holiday, Lewis writes down his own personal look at what’s wrong with Christmas, and as Stephen King says, it's seen through the eyes of “the most engagingly pissed-off comedian ever.”

From his own Christmas rituals, witch have absolutely nothing to do with presents or the Christmas tree or Rudolph, to his own eccentric experiences with the holiday (including a USO Christmas tour and playing Santa Claus in full regalia), I’m Dreaming of a Black Christmas is classic Lewis: funny, razor-sharp, insightful, and honest.

It is truly a wonderful addition to the book, and it really doesn't feel tacked on at all. Christmas is a time when we reflect on what we love in life, and one of the things I think we all love is Freedom.

As for Lewis, he doesn't regret opening so much and being so personal."It's honest", he says."It's who I am".

He is also Warning readers to ignore the book if they have a deep attachment to Christmastime.

I say it's worth reading it but you must know that you might never think of Christmas in the same way.

Victim of his own succes - Dane Cook - LOVED or HATED?

The famous comedian Dane Cook has become a victim of his own success.

The American stand up comedian and film actor, born on March 18, 1972,  has released five comedy albums: Harmful If Swallowed, Retaliation, Vicious Circle, Rough Around The Edges: Live From Madison Square Garden, and Isolated Incident. Retaliation became the highest charting comedy album and went platinum.

Dane Cook has millions of fans, 3.5 million followers on Facebook, 2.6 million on MySpace and 1.5 million on Twitter.

But with so impressive numbers comes great expectations.Well almost too great.

Being so successful and also a charming handsome man, Cook always arouses envy around him.Even between him and other comedians.

Other comedians have accused Cook of stealing their material.

But Cook, who is delightful an open in conversations, pays no mind to the haters.

"It's always been there, it's always going to be there," Cook, 38, said of the pressure to succeed. "There's always going to be the people that embrace you and fill an arena, and there's going to be people outside throwing an egg at it."

Cook says he will produce film and TV for the first time next year, and expects to direct a series of short films. He will also make his Broadway debut next year, in a production of Neil LaBute's Fat Pig, without abandoning his career as a stand up comedian.

Oh dear God! I say this is going to bring him more "lovers and haters". I guess it is difficult being Dane Cook, these days!

What about you? Love Cook or Hate Cook?
