Seinfeld doing one U.K. show in 2011

American stand-up comedian, actor and writer, best known for playing a semi-fictional version of himself in the situation comedy Seinfeld, which he co-created and co-wrote with Larry David, and, in the show's final two seasons, co-executive-produced, Jerry Seinfeld has signed on to do just one show in the U.K., his first since 1998.

The 56-year-old performer, whose Seinfeld series as the greatest television program of all time ended in 1998, has been busy doing stand up all over the U.S. and Canada while also doing some voice work and producing films and series such as The Marriage Ref.

His few gigs in the U.K. 12 years ago were sold out despite the fact the dates clashed with the World Cup soccer final and also tickets for the one-time show at London's 20,000-seat O2 arena on June 2 are going for more than £100.

The four stars of Seinfeld — including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards — reunited in 2009 in a multi-episode story arc of David's satirical series Curb Your Enthusiasm, appearing as themselves and not their TV characters.

So,it's coming up soon, Jerry Seinfeld shunning the spotlight again with his one U.K. show in 2011!
